At a time when solutions to this autoimmune condition were scarce, melissa’s dedication to all things celiac were heroic. She is the epitome of the definition of Celiac Mommy! The information she has amassed, including diets and recipes, is profound.
Melissa’s cook book is a go to resource for our nosey pack community and the public in general. her recipes are simple, delicious and fun. I have had the pleasure of being in the kitchen with her when preparing delicious gluten free meals and “The Celiac Mommy” truly makes it look simple!

My name is Melissa and I am a native San Diegan. I am a mom of two wonderful children, a boy and a girl.
My son is humble, energetic, and always caring. My daughter is outgoing, full of energy and always wanting to help.
My son doesn’t have celiac disease but my daughter does.
She was diagnosed in December of 2013. From that point on it has been nothing short of moving the earth trying to make her as healthy as possible.
She is what the doctors call a severe celiac, this means the slightest cross contamination can take her down.
